Unique Pop-Up Gallery in Southwark

This unique 1500 sq ft gallery is situated within the historic Menier Chocolate Factory, a minute's walk of London Bridge station and attractions such as the Shard, Borough Market and the Tate Modern. The gallery is one of London’s artistic hubs and brings together art lovers, theatre goers and local residents.

There are two areas available for hire: the ground floor and basement. These can be hired together or separately.

There are two available types of hire, by the week or for a single evening. If you would like to hire it for the week, your event must be art, design or fashion related so it conforms with the social identity of the space.

For single evenings, it is ideal for hosting art openings, receptions, informal meetings, team building days and product launches.

The ground floor gallery is 640 sq ft and offers a light exhibition space with high ceilings and period features. TIt is an interesting mix of exposed brickwork and white display walls, with two fixed interior feature walls dividing the space. Directional track lights on the ceiling light the gallery. Three large windows face Southwark Street, and another to O’Meara Street which is perfect for showcasing your event to the public.

The lower ground floor gallery is 830 sq ft and offers exhibitors a more conventional gallery setting with the space for larger shows. Without windows, the space offers an excellent environment for multimedia and screenings.
