Making The Most Of A Little Space
You should not have to shrink your vision in order to fit into your store. Here are some tips and tricks to make the most out of a few square meters.

- Lighting is everything. Any unlit space in a store can essentially be written off as useless, and you’ve not got room to lose. Use different types of lighting, from strip lights to light boxes, in order to create a warm, layered effect.
- Windows are a great way to open up a space, but we know they’re either something your store has or it doesn’t. If you’re in the latter category, you can use mirrors instead. You can even frame your mirrors with curtains for a cosy faux-window effect, if that works with your brand.
- Avoid overcrowding, as it will make your space feel cluttered and even smaller. Opt for open shelving where possible, and make use of your walls when displaying products. Spreading up rather than outwards can prevent a cramped feel when done well.
Make a feature-wall. Using either brightly coloured paint or some funky wallpaper, make the right hand wall of your store pop. Not only will it attract attention and make the shop feel more fun, but it will open it up and give the illusion of a larger space.
